IG Wealth Management’s Chief Investment Strategist, Philip Petursson says throughout financial quarters, companies set earning estimates and then progressively lower them until the final figures beat the expectations. And then everyone cheers. Philip says the 2023 Q2 earnings season followed the same script, but with a twist — expectations were even more subdued. This week he looks how companies performed.
